5.9 The associative

Personal names can be used in a construction designating a group of persons associated with a specific individual. The construction has the form of a coordination consisting of the proper name as its first element, followed by the conjunct, followed by a plural pronoun as the second element of the coordination. This construction is called the associative, see J. Hoekstra (2022).

The construction as a whole is used to name a group:

Hinnerk un do.
Hinnerk and those.PL
Hinnerk and his relatives / friends.

The same construction is also found in West Frisian, where it is found both with the plural distal demonstrative and with the plural personal pronoun.
